Joseph, Greenwald & Laake welcomes associate Michael Schlepp

GREENBELT, Md. – Joseph, Greenwald & Laake (JGL) is pleased to announce that Michael L. Schlepp has joined the firm as an associate in the Civil Litigation practice group.

“We are very pleased to welcome Mike to the firm,” said Burt M. Kahn, managing director of Joseph, Greenwald & Laake. “His breadth of experience and deep business knowledge will be of great service to our clients.”

Before his employment at JGL, Schlepp practiced general civil and commercial litigation in a number of capacities, including as a solo practitioner. He has experience representing clients of all sizes, from individuals to Fortune 100 companies. He has advocated for businesses and individuals working in numerous industries including construction, healthcare, regulatory, financial, consumer, entertainment and employment. While in law school, Schlepp interned with the United States Attorney’s Office in Baltimore where, among other projects, he examined the nuances of the Federal Tort Claims Act.

Schlepp earned his law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and his bachelor’s degree at the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland, College Park.
