PG Schools Seek Extension of Immunization Deadline
With the state deadline for students to be vaccinated at hand, Prince George's County Public Schools will seek another 45 days to comply.

Prince George’s County Public Schools will seek a 45-day extension of the date required to have students immunized according to Maryland’s new immunization requirements, giving parents more time to have their children vaccinated.
The original date to have kindergarten and seventh-grade students immunized was Tuesday, Sept.16; the new deadline will be Friday, Oct. 31.
Last week, Anne Arundel County Public Schools said it would seek the vaccination extension and schedule more clinics to get students vaccinated. And, Montgomery County Public Schools sought the same waiver last week.
