Police: Fatal Car Crash in Prince George's County
A Gaithersburg woman has died from injuries in five-car wreck.
A Gaithersburg Woman has died from injuries sustained in a car crash on July 18 in Prince George’s County.
Officers were called to the intersection of Branch Avenue and Accokeek Road in Brandywine around 5:45 p.m. for a report of a five-car collision, according to a news release. Police say the driver of a Ford Mustang tried to make an illegal left turn onto Accokeek Road from southbound Branch Avenue. A car heading north on Branch Avenue struck the Ford and pushed it into two other cars -- one of which pushed into a third car.
Knedejah Francis, 31, was a passenger in one of the vehicles and was taken to the hospital in critical conditions. She died of her injuries on July 23.

The driver of the Ford had non-life threatening injuries, and no other drivers or passengers were hurt.
