Police Plan Sobriety Checkpoint in Laurel
Drunk drivers will be ticketed on the spot, police say.

The Laurel Police Department is warning drivers it will hold a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, Aug. 29, to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving.
Any impaired or drunk drivers will be ticketed on the spot, police say.
The checkpoint will take place from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Aug. 29 in the 100 block of Second Street.
