Police: Woman Hit by Bus in Fatal Accident

Prince George's County Police are investigating the fatal collision in Upper Marlboro.

A woman struck by a bus Thursday morning was pronounced dead on scene when police arrived.

Prince George’s County police officers responded to the intersection of Main and Water Street in Upper Marlboro around 10:35 a.m. Thursday for report of a pedestrian collision, according to a news release.

The woman was pinned under the bus when officers arrived, according to police. Investigators believe she was in the crosswalk when the bus struck her.

The bus driver remained on scene, police said.
