Schools CFO, Wife Resign Jobs After Insurance Fraud Ruling
Colby White was chief financial officer for Prince George's County Public Schools and Keisha worked as an internal auditor for PGCPS.

After state investigators determined the chief financial officer for the Prince George’s County Public Schools and his wife, also employed by the school district, had committed insurance fraud, the couple quit their jobs.
The resignations of Colby R. White and his wife, Keisha, were accepted and effective immediately, school officials told the media. Keisha White was an internal auditor in the school system.
On Friday the Maryland Insurance Administration ordered the Whites to pay $6,000 for filing a false insurance claim for a lost wedding ring, according to The Washington Post. State officials say White filed two claims for his wife’s 1.5-carat ring with two different insurance companies within a five-month span. The first claim paid $16,313 in April 2013.
