Volunteers needed to plant trees!

The City Of Greenbelt will be celebrating Arbor Day with a tree restoration planting at Buddy Attic Park. We will be planting native trees and shrubs that have been removed by our resident Beaver. Show your support for Arbor Day by breaking out your old clothes, work gloves, comfortable shoes, and water bottle. Enjoy a day of planting native trees and plants at Greenbelt Lake. Participants should wear gloves, clothes and shoes that can get dirty. Individuals and groups are welcome. Afterwards enjoy light snacks and refreshments at our Public works Facility open house at our 10:00am to 2:00pm.

DATE: April 26, 2014
TIME: 10:00am to 12:00pm
MEETING PLACE: Public Works Building 555 Crescent Rd
PLANTING SITE: Greenbelt Lake Peninsula at Buddy Attick Park
