11 Cooling Centers Open In Harford County On Thursday
Harford County's health officer urges people to be careful both indoors and out on account of the heat, as county opens cooling centers.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD - Due to extreme heat, all Harford County Public Libraries will serve as “Cooling Centers” for the public’s use during normal business hours on Thursday, July 13.
Weather officials have issued a heat advisory and air quality alert for the region, including Harford County, prompting a warning from county's health officer.
“Individuals of all ages must be exceptionally careful when engaging in outdoor activities or even when exposed for extended periods of time to hot indoor environments," Harford County Health Officer Dr. Russell Moy said in a statement. "Prolonged exposure to hot and humid weather conditions can result in potentially life-threatening heat-related illnesses and injuries."
