2 Deadly Crashes In Cecil County In 4 Days: Police
Two men in their 20s died in crashes this week in Cecil County, Maryland State Police said.

CECIL COUNTY, MD - Two fatal crashes are under investigation out of the North East barrack, according to Maryland State Police. One crash occurred Wednesday morning, while another happened Sunday.
Before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, a Delaware man driving a 2011 Mazda 6 swerved to avoid a vehicle backing out of a driveway and crashed head-on into another vehicle in Rising Sun, police reported.
Tanner Schintzius, 24, of Newark, Delaware, was pronounced deceased at the scene, on MD 274/Joseph Biggs Memorial Highway east of Harrington Road, according to officials.

He had been headed east and served into a Jeep Patriot that was traveling west.
The Jeep driver - Earl Schintzius, 23, of Earleville - was flown to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, police said.

Troopers from the North East barrack were called to another deadly crash days before.
At 9:09 p.m. on Sunday, police said that a white Jeep Liberty drove off Bethel Church Road/MD 286 and hit an embankment, then flipped at least six times.
Zachary Hemling, 27, of Rising Sun, was ejected from the Jeep and pronounced deceased at the scene, according to authorities.
Nathaniel Duff, 21, of Chesapeake City, was driving, and he was flown to shock trauma by medevac.
