3 Stabbed in Aberdeen, Police Say
Police said officials think the three knew one another.
Officers are investigating a triple stabbing in Aberdeen that occurred Thursday night, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.
At 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a 911 call for an unknown disturbance in the first block of Pritchard Avenue and didn't find anything, police said; at 6 p.m., a second call came in, this one reporting a stabbing, and police said they found a different situation.
Officers located a man with a laceration to the abdomen and a woman stabbed in the hip, according to the report from the Aberdeen Police Department.
Both victims refused medical treatment and were "less than cooperative with police," according to the report.
Police were informed that another man involved in the altercation had been stabbed in the back, and he was taken by a private vehicle to Harford Memorial Hospital, although officials anticipate he will be transferred to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to the report.
The motive in the stabbings is unclear, according to police, who said it was believed the three individuals knew one another.
