4 Veterans Day Celebrations in Havre de Grace

Havre de Grace always recognizes military members on Veterans Day, and this year’s events take the recognition a step further.

The city will dedicate the land behind Citizens Care Rehabilitation Center to veterans. The park on Concord Street will be named “Veterans Park.” That is set for 10:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Then Mayor Bill Martin will speak at a Veterans Day ceremony in Tydings Park at 11 a.m.

Following the service, American Legion Post #47 invites the community to a complimentary lunch.

As usual, the holiday will begin with a visit to Angel Hill Cemetery at 9 a.m.
