5 Arrests Made By HdG Police In 2 Days
Police said the following crimes were reported in Havre de Grace; charges were brought against five people as a result, officials report.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Five people were arrested in recent days by Havre de Grace police, according to authorities. Three of the arrests were related to thefts from the 400 block of Juniata Street.
A couple was charged with theft after stealing less than $10 worth of items from a store in the 400 block of Juniata Street. A 37-year-old man from the 100 block of Wilson Street and 37-year-old woman from the unit block of Post Road were accused of taking several food items from the store and leaving. The woman allegedly put an item down her pants. The two were charged and released at 8:41 a.m. on April 9.
An 18-year-old from the 1100 block of Chesapeake Drive was issued a criminal citation for theft of less than $50. He was accused of taking $7.76 worth of food items from the store and leaving without paying for them. The shoplifting case was reported at 8:32 p.m. on April 8; then the man was charged and released.

A 33-year-old Havre de Grace man was charged with five counts of burglary and malicious destruction of property greater than $1,000 after a shed was broken into in the 100 block of Deaver Street. Officers found the man at 11:23 a.m. on April 8 trying to break into the shed when they were called for a report of a person kicking the door to a shed. He was being held without bail as of April 9, and the following day he filed for a writ of habeas corpus.
A 25-year-old from the 200 block of Seneca Avenue was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle and unauthorized removal of property. He was pulled over at 6:12 p.m. on April 8 on Bloomsbury at Seneca avenues driving a 2004 Acura that was reported stolen from Washington, D.C.

A Bluetooth receiver was stolen from the 700 block of Blackberry Lane at 4:15 p.m. on April 6.
