5 Warming Centers Open in Harford County

With below-zero temps sweeping the region, citizens can find relief at local warming centers.

Five firehouses are opening to the public until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, for those seeking warmth, as below-zero temperatures blow through the area.

In collaboration with the Harford County Department of Emergency Services, County Executive Barry Glassman and the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Service, these houses will be open to the public immediately as warming centers:

  • Aberdeen House 1, 21 N. Rogers St., Aberdeen
  • Bel Air House 1, 109 S. Hickory Ave., Bel Air
  • Bel Air House 2, 27 E. Jarrettsville Rd., Forest Hill
  • Bel Air House 3, 1 Patterson Mill Rd, Bel Air
  • Jarrettsville House 1, 3825 Federal Hill Rd., Jarrettsville

All locations will be open 24/7 until 8 a.m. Tuesday, February 16.

These firehouses are for warmth but are not shelters; get assistance for citizens experiencing homelessness by dialing 211.
