7 Tire Slashings on Congress Avenue: HdG Crime
The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – Multiple vehicles were damaged in Havre de Grace this week, the methods ranging from tire slashing to paintball shooting, according to police.
Seven vehicles had their tires slashed in the 500 block of Congress Avenue. The slashings were reported at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22.
A red Chevy Cobalt was vandalized on North Stokes at Franklin streets, reported after 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22.

A rock was thrown at a vehicle and its tires were slashed in the 200 block of North Freedom Lane, reported at 8:45 p.m. on Monday, March 21. Damage was $116.
A vehicle was hit by a paintball in the 300 block of Washington Street around 1 or 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 19. It washed off, and there was no damage.

Other Crimes
Money was reported stolen in the 800 block of Revolution Street shortly after 6 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23.
Catalytic converters worth more than $1,500 were stolen after someone jumped a fence where vehicles were secured in the 1200 block of Pulaski Highway. The theft of converters from the vehicles was reported around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 22.
Shoplifting was reported in the 1000 block of Pulaski Highway at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Monday, March 21.
An assault near the Royal Farms on Juniata Street was reported at approximately 6:45 p.m. and referred to the commissioner.
A woman's purse was stolen while at the Havre de Grace Community Center in the 100 block of Lagaret Lane on Saturday, March 19.
An assault was reported in the 400 block of Lewis Lane before 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18.
There was a shed burglarized in the 300 block of Old Bay Lane, reported at approximately 8:15 a.m. on Friday, March 18.
Medication was stolen in the 700 block of Green Street, reported at 7:25 a.m. on Friday, March 18.
Someone tried to break in, putting his hand behind the screen in the 200 block of Seneca Avenue, then when the resident awoke, the suspect ran down the road. The attempted break-in occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Friday, March 18.
5 Arrests
After 2 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, a Perryville man was arrested in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway. The 32-year-old was wanted on a warrant through the Maryland Transportation Authority for failure to appear.
A 22-year-old man in the 100 block of Vandiver Court was arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support at 3:18 p.m. on Monday, March 21.
A 43-year-old man from the 100 block of Seneca Avenue was charged with failure to obey the lawful order of a police officer after 3 p.m. on Sunday, March 20.
A 24-year-old from the 400 block of Village Drive was arrested on a Harford County child support warrant at 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, March 19.
A 45-year-old Elkton man was arrested in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway and charged with possession of cocaine and other drugs as the result of a search warrant, executed at 1 p.m. on Friday, March 18.
