Aberdeen Bank Robbery Suspects Apprehended: Report

Joseph and Jenny Carrier were linked to multiple bank robberies, including one on Beards Hill Road, according to police.

The married couple suspected in multiple bank robberies along the East Coast, including in Aberdeen, Md., has been apprehended, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

Joseph E. Carrier, 37,of Quincy, Mass., was identified as a suspect in the Oct. 16 Bank of America robbery in Aberdeen, according to the Aberdeen Police Department.

He and his wife, Jenny D. Carrier, 37, were also wanted in connection with bank robberies in Massachusetts and Florida, according to police.

The pair was arrested in Pennsylvania, police reported Monday.

The Carriers had allegedly robbed a bank in New Castle County, Del., at approximately 12:15 p.m. Monday, according to The News Journal.

A Delaware trooper saw the Carriers in a stolen Buick Encore just after the robbery call was dispatched and followed them into Pennsylvania on Interstate 95, the Aberdeen Police Department reported.

Pennsylvania State Police provided assistance at the state line, and the chase reportedly ended near the Philadelphia International Airport.
