Alcohol OK at Tidewater Concert
Guests can drink while they listen to Andrew Robear perform on Sept. 19.

The Tidewater Grille was given the green light by the Harford County Liquor Control Board to serve alcohol at a concert next week.
The restaurant on Franklin Street plans to host Colora musician Andrew Robear for an outdoor performance on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Since a plan for containment of alcohol is what the board is interested in for safety and legal purposes at outside events, liquor board administrative assistant Judith Powell explained that geography was a help at the Havre de Grace waterfront restaurant.
"This uses the same containment plan as previous events...the water being the biggest barrier that they have," Powell said. "There have been other events they have held there that we have not had any issues with," she added.
The board unanimously approved the Tidewater's request to serve alcohol at the event.
Andrew Robear will perform Thursday, Sept. 19, at the Tidewater Grille (300 Franklin St.) in Havre de Grace.
