Assaults, Jar Theft, Stolen Water: HdG Police Blotter

Two incidents at Havre de Grace High School were reported so far this month, according to police reports.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Items were taken from a gym locker in the 700 block of Congress Avenue before 9 a.m. on Dec. 6.

A jar of money was stolen from Concord Place. The theft was reported at 7:08 p.m. on Dec. 6. It was unknown how much was in the jar.

An assault was reported in the 600 block of North Stokes Street. The assault was reported on Dec. 5 but was related to a previous occurrence. The case was referred to the commissioner.

An assault was reported in the 700 block of Congress Avenue at 2:15 p.m. on Dec. 4. It was handled by Harford County Public Schools.

A man was arrested for assaulting his mother in the 200 block of South Stokes Street at 11:19 a.m. on Dec. 2. The 41-year-old man had been arguing with her, and there were no injuries as a result of the assault. He was taken to the Harford County Detention Center.

A 21-year-old man from the 500 block of North Stokes Street was arrested for two counts of second-degree child abuse at 10:08 p.m. on Dec. 1.

There was a theft from a vehicle on Water Street at 5:46 p.m. on Dec. 1.

Water was turned off, then stolen in the 200 block of Superior Street on Dec. 1. The case was settled by the parties involved.
