PORT DEPOSIT, MD — When fire broke out in Port Deposit early Sunday morning, the Susquehanna Hose Company jumped in to assist. It sent multiple crews to the Bainbridge property, the fire company reported. A vacant house in the 700 block of Jacob Tome Memorial Highway was ablaze at 12:59 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, according to the fire marshal. A passerby reported the fire. The fire marshal said that about 30 firefighters, led by the Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company, battled the blaze.
