Bank Robbed on Market Street: HdG Police

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD – After a man wearing a ski mask robbed the BB&T bank on Market Street, authorities are asking for help identifying him.

The suspect entered the bank in the 200 block of Market Street at about 3:48 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, passed a note to the teller demanding money and indicated he had a weapon “through movements in his pockets,” police said.

Having received an undisclosed amount of money, the man left on foot, officials said.

Police searched the surrounding area but reported being unable to find the suspect.

The man appeared to have a light beard and freckles, according to police. At the time of the robbery, officials said he was wearing a black ski mask, gloves, dark-colored jacket and blue jeans. During the robbery, he never showed an actual weapon, according to police.
