Warriors seniors selected to All-Chesapeake Division First Team, Jones on Second Team; Knight named honorable mention for Havre de Grace girls team

Monty Werts and Travonn Bond of the Warriors boys basketball team were named to the Upper Chesapeake Bay Athletic Conference Chesapeake Division First Team, as selected by the conference's head coaches.
The seniors were joined by Aberdeen sophomore Tevon Saddler, Fallston senior Tyler Smith and Joppatowne senior Shendell Chase.
Werts missed much of the season’s first half due to injury, but he returned in the latter half of the year and was the Warriors best player. He played in just 16 games, but led the Warriors in scoring at 12.8 points per game and rebounding at 9.2 per game. The undersized forward was one of the best in the conference in the paint, despite giving up a size advantage to his opponents each night.
