Bathroom Exhaust Fan Suspected Of Sparking House Fire
A manufactured home caught on fire early Friday morning at the Williams Mobile Home Park in Edgewood. Investigators suspect an exhaust fan.

EDGEWOOD, MD — A manufactured home located in the Williams Mobile Home Park caught on fire early Friday morning.
The fire broke out around 1 a.m. June 26 at the mobile home park, located at 578 Trimble Rd. in Edgewood. Almost three dozen firefighters rushed to the fire with the primary responding fire department coming from the Joppa-Magnolia Volunteer Fire Company. It took them around 10 minutes to control the fire.
The blaze was spotted by a passerby and reported by the owner as well. According to the Maryland Office of the State fire Marshal, the fire broke out in the bathroom ceiling and rear wall area. Investigators believe the bathroom exhaust fan might have sparked the fire, according to a report.

The state fire marshal's office has estimated loss at $50,000 and two adults, along with one child, have been displaced. They are being helped by Harford County Disaster Assistance.
