Bikes Stolen Outside Havre de Grace Library: Police

Summertime brings with it an increase in bike thefts, Havre de Grace police say, so locking them up is recommended.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD - Two bikes were stolen from the Havre de Grace Library recently, and authorities are asking for help finding them.

Police shared pictures of the two bikes on Wednesday and asked anyone who sees them or someone riding them to contact the Havre de Grace Police Department at 410-939-2121.

There is an uptick in bicycle thefts during the summertime, police said. To protect their bikes, people are advised to use chains to secure them and engrave something unique on the bike to help officials identify it.
