Biller's Bikes Creates PSA to Increase Voter Turnout
Just 10 percent of people in Havre de Grace participate in municipal elections, according to the North Juniata Street bike shop owners.

Bike shop owners Mara Wasilik and Walt Biller said they want more of their neighbors in Havre de Grace to get out and vote.
With fewer than 25 percent of citizens voting in Havre de Grace, "we don't feel that it's a good representation of what Havre de Grace citizens really want," Wasilik told Patch earlier this month.
To that end, they filmed a public service announcement, which was just released on YouTube, to encourage their fellow citizens to vote in the election this May. Shot at their store, Biller's Bikes, the video features several Havre de Grace residents, including some candidates in the 2013 election, sharing why they are voting this year.

The election is Tuesday, May 7. Voting is from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. that day at St. Patricks Church Hall (600 Pennington Ave.) in Havre de Grace.
