Boat Burglars, 2 Assaults, Tool Theft: HdG Crime

Four people were arrested on Saturday in Havre de Grace, according to police, for offenses ranging from DWI to boat burgling.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

Two teens from Pennsylvania were charged in connection with boat burglaries. The men were arrested after they were found aboard boats in the 600 block of Concord Street at 2 a.m. on May 21. They face burglary and trespassing charges. Police said nothing was taken from the boats.

An 18-year-old from the 100 block of North Union Avenue was charged with drug and paraphernalia possession after police responded to a call for a suspicious vehicle and made contact with the man in the 400 block of Timonium Court after 7:30 p.m. on May 21.

An assault was reported in the 400 block of Saint John Street at approximately 10:15 a.m. on May 21. Nobody was injured, and the case was referred to the commissioner.

A 24-year-old Bel Air man from the 500 block of Mauser Drive faces multiple charges in connection with drunk driving on MD 155 at Vince Way. At 12:52 a.m. on May 21, police stopped his Honda for speeding in the 1400 block of Level Road. The man was allegedly going 50 mph in a 30 mph zone. Upon finding the driver was slurring his speech and was slow to answer questions, police conducted a field sobriety test and arrested him for DUI, DWI, reckless driving, driving on a revoked license and related charges.

Approximately $375 worth of tools were stolen from the 600 block of Hoppers Lane. Two drills and one saw were stolen overnight between May 20 and May 21.

An assault was reported in the 300 block of Commerce Street before 8 p.m. on May 20. No injuries were reported, and the case was referred to the commissioner.
