Bobby Singleton, 53, of Street

Robert (Bobby) A. Singleton III, 53, of Street, died on Monday, May 30, 2016, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Married August 24, 1996, he was the husband of Lisa L. (Weatherford) Singleton.

Bobby was born in Havre de Grace on Nov. 18, 1962, a son of the late Robert A. and Ruby M. (Dowell) Singleton Jr.

Bobby enjoyed working as an auto mechanic; he and his wife were the founders of B & L Auto in Hickory, where he served his community doing exactly what he loved as a business owner. He had a great interest in restoring classic cars and took home many trophies in RC racing. Bobby was a music enthusiast; he played guitar and fondly listened to the Beatles and other classic rock & roll. Time spent with his granddaughter was precious to him. Bobby also treasured his friends, just hanging out was one of his favorite things to do.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 7–9 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA 17314.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 3, also in the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Jimmy Akers. Interment will immediately follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
