Body Pulled From Susquehanna River, Investigation Launched: MD Natural Resources Police

A body was pulled from the Susquehanna River after emergency workers received a report of a person in the water Tuesday morning, police say.

GLEN COVE, MD — A body has been pulled from the Susquehanna River near Glen Cove, officials report.

First responders from several agencies were dispatched to the river around 7:25 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a person in the water. Volunteer firefighters from Darlington Volunteer Fire Company, Level Volunteer Fire Company, the Harford County Volunteer Swift Water Rescue Team and Water Witch Volunteer Fire Company, along with a Harford County EMS unit and special operations team all searched the river, according to the county volunteer fire and EMS association.

Around 7:43 a.m., a body was found and the individual pronounced dead at the scene. Maryland Natural Resources Police will investigate the incident.
