12 Days of Christmas—Candy Cane Favors

If you have an upcoming party or get together, here's an easy way to use leftover candy canes for party favors or hostess gifts.

You'll need:

• Candy canes
• Melting candy or chocolate chips
• Ziploc baggies
• Sprinkles

Directions:

1. Melt candy melts or chocolate chips. I used a Ziploc baggie in a pot of hot water for a few minutes worked well, wasn't messy and was easier to squeeze than the candy bottle.
2. Unwrap candy canes, place two of them facing one another to make a heart shape.
3. After the candy is melted, snip corner of baggie and fill the inside of the candy canes.
4. Use sprinkles to add a decorative touch.
5. Let candy set up for about 20-30 minutes
6. Use candy bags or decorative baggies to place the candy cane favors in, tie with a piece of ribbon and there you have a cute inexpensive party favor or hostess gift.
