Crafting for a Cause

I've promoted a lot of programs over the last several months, from Graw Days to our library holiday Open House, but I'm most excited about this upcoming event!

This Saturday, from 10-5 pm, I'm inviting our local teenagers to participate in a unique opportunity: to Craft for a Cause! together. As a group, here at the library, we'll be having a marathon crafting day, creating about 200 fleece scarves in a single day. We can do it, but we need your help. All scarves will be distributed to needy kids at the Good Cause Foundation Christmas Party. So, it's kids crafting for kids, each item handmade. Is there any better holiday gift?

Would you please pass the word? We're providing all of the supplies and even snacks to keep up everyone's energy. We just need willing hands.
