One Story A Week

There are 52 weeks and one day in one year. It has been ten years—a decade—since tragedy struck the United States on September 11th 2001.

There are 52 weeks and one day in one year. It has been ten years—a decade—since tragedy struck the United States on Sept. 11, 2001. According to NYCTower.com, the new Freedom tower grows by one story every week. I remember so vividly seeing the destruction on television and the remains at Ground Zero in person. It brought me such heartache. But on this day, ten years later, I feel pride in the strength our nation found to get up and start again. The freedom tower brings a sense of hope and a promise for a future to those affected by September 11—which in a way, we all were.

There will be 52 weeks and one day this year. Spend that one day with us, at Restore Church. Service times are 9:30 & 11 a.m. We meet at the Good Cause Community Center at 616 Ontario Street in Havre de Grace. We will remember those lost and experience the hope and promise for a future not only represented by the imminent completion of the freedom tower, but also in the message of Jesus Christ. The same HOPE and PROMISE we wish to impart to the city of Havre de Grace as we embark on our mission to restore our community back to God.
