What's New In Organizing

Stay on top of the latest products in organizing. What's yours?

I have often said that organizing is not rocket science.  There are few 'break throughs' in the organizing industry but often there are small steps, 'ah-ha' type inventions or perspectives that put a new twist on an idea or simply make life easier.  Here are a few of my favorite new things in the organizing industry:

Website:

ListPlanIt.com  This is a subscription website where you can print lists for just about any event or activity you can think of.  What I love is that it takes the guesswork out of planning for an upcoming trip or event.  You can print lists for anything from preparing for Christmas, getting the kids back to school, moving, financial planning and many, many more.

Business Solution:

I really liked two different solutions.  One was Wallmates and peel off wall sticker that you can write on with dry erase markers.  The solution comes as a calendar or plain and a variety of sizes.  The other new item was a notebook system available at Staples.  The system is called ARC and provides a ‘higher end’ customizable notebook solution.  You can purchase the notebook plus dividers, papers and other accessories but there is also an option for a specialized hole punch that allows any paper to work with the ARC system.

Book:

A Graceful Farewell by Maggie Watson is a step by step work book and cd for getting your affairs in order.  Maggie Watson addresses personal and financial data, dispersing your possessions and outlining your intentions.  Give yourself and your family members peace of mind with this easy to follow solution.
