Bulle Rock Turkey Trot 2019: Course, Registration, Time, Awards

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Before eating Thanksgiving dinner, the Susquehanna Hose Company invites people to burn off some calories at the 13th annual Bulle Rock Turkey Trot. There will be a 5K as well as a 1-mile fun run/walk.

Rain or shine, participants will take to the streets of Bulle Rock on Thanksgiving morning, when the 5K starts at 9 a.m.

The course will travel through the Bulle Rock community on paved roads as well as paths.

For the 5K, the golf course is included. See the 5K course map.

On the 1-mile fun run/walk, organizers say there is a different route that does not go on the golf course.

Registration is $30 for those 10 years and up and $20 for people younger than 10.

Proceeds benefit the Susquehanna Hose Company. Money goes to its equipment fund.

Awards will be presented to the top three overall males and females, plus in each age group: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60-plus. There will also be awards for the oldest and youngest 5K participants.

Online registration closes at 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27.

People can also register in person from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 27, at the Susquehanna Hose Company Division 5 firehouse at 1542 Chapel Road; or on race day at 7:30 a.m. at Bulle Rock Residents Club, 1200 Bulle Rock Parkway.

The Turkey Trot starts at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28. Meet at the Bulle Rock Residents Club, 1200 Bulle Rock Parkway. Organizers note this is not the clubhouse.
