Burglars Clean Out Car Wash, Taking Cash Machine: HdG Crime
Police said two burglaries, one identity theft and one alleged drunk driver were reported this week in Havre de Grace.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in the Havre de Grace area. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
More than $1,000 worth of items were taken when an apartment was burglarized in the 500 block of North Stokes Street. The burglars removed panels that had been covering a broken window at 2:34 p.m. on Feb. 24. A television as well as baby items, clothing and pots and pans were stolen. The total of the items taken was $1,400.
Identity theft was reported in the 500 block of Tern Court on Feb. 24.

There was a break-in at Clark's Car Wash in the 1000 block of Otsego Street reported at 8:13 a.m. on Feb. 23. Someone went into the four bays of the car wash and removed the coin machine from each one. The burglary happened overnight.
A Darlington man was charged with DUI after an officer was called to the area of the 100 block of Revolution Street for a report of a drunk driver. The officer watched as a black Hyundai Sonata pulled into a nearby apartment complex, and the driver exited with a brown paper bag in his hand, swaying and stumbling into the vehicle next to him. After taking several field sobriety tests, the 56-year-old from the 200 block of Castleton Road was charged with driving while intoxicated and driving under the influence and issued several traffic citations. The incident occurred around 3:29 p.m. on Feb. 22.
