Havre de Grace Art Explosion: The Story of the Graw Alley Murals
How did forty large-scale murals depicting more than 400 years of Havre de Grace history come to life?
Join us for Beyond the Obvious on Tuesday, September 8 at 6:30 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, as local businessman and preservationist Allen J. Fair and local historian George Wagner share the fascinating story behind Graw Alley—from the vision and selection of its historical themes to the challenges of creating the murals themselves.
The program will also recognize the extraordinary artistic legacy of Ezra Berger, the artist behind the Graw Alley collection, who died unexpectedly in July.
