Casting Call This Saturday

In my last post I mentioned the upcoming film shoot for KEG Productions' newest short film "The Yule Logline."  The shoot will be on Saturday, February 8 in and around Havre de Grace.  However, due to increasing interest, KEG Productions will be holding a casting call this Saturday, February 1, from 10:00-11:30 in room 4 of the Havre de Grace Activity Center, 351 Lewis Lane, Havre de Grace, Maryland.  Actors will be asked to perform a screen test and read short portions from the screenplay.

KEG is casting roles for the following:
2 teenage females
4 adult males
2 adult females
3 elementary/middle school females
2 elementary/middle school males
Plus various elementary/middle school extras.

Most of the roles do not have any particular physical requirements, although the scenes with the four adult males are homages to classic Christmas films, so KEG is looking for people who could at least marginally pass for the following:

John McClane from "Die Hard"
Kris Kringle from "Miracle on 34th Street"
Scott Calvin (the thin version) from "The Santa Clause" and
George Bailey from "It's a Wonderful Life"

One of the adult female roles is "standing in" for Mary Hatch/Bailey from "It's a Wonderful Life".  The other is a college film professor.

These are unpaid, non-union roles.

If you are interested in a role, attendance this Saturday is appreciated, although as long as you have sent in a head shot (or other current photograph) and resume (or list of acting experience), you may still be considered for a role even if you cannot attend.

If interested, please contact Executive Producer Ken Coughlan at hdgdrama@yahoo.com or (443)987-4395.
