Churchville Bank Robbed, Employees Accosted: Police

There's a reward for information about the suspect.

Detectives with Maryland State Police are asking for help identifying the man who robbed a bank in Churchville Tuesday afternoon.

The suspect, believed to be in his late 20s to mid 30s, accosted employees and demanded cash at the BB&T on Churchville Road at approximately 3 p.m., police said.

Authorities said the suspect left on foot from the bank in the 2900 block of Churchville Road.

The suspect was described as 5’9” tall with a medium build and was wearing a red fleece jacket, black hat, tan pants and black shoes.

.A cash reward of up to $2,000 is being offered for information about the suspect.
