Closures In Place For Bridge Repairs Across Harford County
Drivers should make note of several roads being closed this spring so crews can perform bridge repairs across Harford County.
CHURCHVILLE, MD — A section of Glenville Road in Churchville will be closed for up to eight weeks starting May 11.
The closure stretches from Cool Branch Road to Old Level Road and is needed so that crews can make bridge repairs.
Emergency vehicles and school buses will not be allowed through the area during the closure. Drivers who use this road should follow the posted detour signs or take another route.

Bridge Drive Bridge H-0163 over Gunpowder River, also known as the Joppatowne Canal, which is located between Towne Center Drive and Shore Drive has closed so crews can carry out routine bridge maintenance on the bridge deck. The sidewalk will be accessible outside of work hours, the county stated. This closure lasts through May 22.
Love Road Bridge No. H-0157x over Peddler's Run, which is located between Franklin Church Road and Glen Cove Road, will close May 18 for approximately four weeks, weather permitting, so crews can replace the timber bridge deck and perform routine bridge maintenance.
