Coastal Flood Advisory in Effect for HdG

The National Weather Service said tides will be unusually high.

A coastal flood advisory is in effect for Harford and Baltimore counties until 2 a.m. Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

During high tide on Tuesday, the tides will rise approximately one foot higher than normal, the weather service reported.

High tide in Havre de Grace is 11:23 a.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the report.

Under a coastal flood advisory, winds and tides combine to create flooding along low-lying areas by the shore.
