Coakley's Cornerstone Now Open In Havre de Grace
There's a new liquor store in downtown Havre de Grace. Coakley's Cornerstone is open on Union Avenue.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Those looking to buy alcohol can now do so at a liquor store in downtown Havre de Grace. Coakley's Cornerstone sells local wines, craft beers, spirits and other merchandise on Union Avenue.
Margie Coakley, who owns the nearby Coakley's Pub on Saint John Street, also owns Coakley's Cornerstone.
The Harford County Liquor Control Board gave her permission to sell alcohol at Coakley's Cornerstone as part of the Coakley's Pub liquor license, which allows for off-sale purchases, in November.

Margie Coakley founded Coakley's Pub in 1997 and it has "grown to be a major cornerstone to the entrance to the city as well as a very loved dining establishment," the Havre de Grace Alliance said in a statement.

The ribbon cutting for Coakley's Cornerstone was held on Aug. 7.
"What a beautiful shop that we know will be very much appreciated by residents, boaters and tourists alike," the Havre de Grace Alliance posted on its Facebook page after the ribbon cutting.
Coakley's Cornerstone is at 419 North Union Avenue in Havre de Grace.
