The cornerstone was presented Tuesday at St. John's Commons in Havre de Grace, signaling the completion of the low-income senior housing complex.
The stone was presented by the Free Masons of Maryland.
The handicapped-accessible complex is located at the intersection of Stokes Street and Pennington Avenue, providing housing for residents over the age of 62, who earn a maximum income of $29,600 for an individual or $33,800 for a couple.

Amenities at the facility include individual heating and air conditioning, automatic sprinkler systems, security systems, community gathering spaces, central laundry facility, computer access, and on-site resident activities.
