Counterfeiter Hit HdG Restaurant: Harford Sheriff

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Authorities are asking for help identifying a man who allegedly used counterfeit bills at two Harford County businesses at the end of October. One of the locations was in Havre de Grace.

The suspect used counterfeit money to pay for his purchase at Bill Bateman's in the 2000 block of Pulaski Highway in Havre de Grace on Monday, Oct. 30, officials said. He also exchanged other counterfeit bills for legitimate currency while there, according to officials.

The man did the same thing at the Chipotle in the unit block of Bel Air South Parkway on Sunday, Oct. 22, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
