One Hospitalized From Crash Near Tydings Bridge: SHCO

Traffic was snarled and one person was injured from a crash on I-95 north in Harford County Saturday night, officials reported.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — One person was injured in a crash on Interstate 95 south of the Tydings Bridge Saturday night, officials said. The injuries were not believed to be serious.

At approximately 8:15 p.m., the Susquehanna Hose Company was dispatched to a crash on I-95 north past the exit for MD 155.

Before 9 p.m., the hose company reported that its crew was still at the scene of the crash, on I-95 north at the entrance to the Tydings Bridge. Its crew was taking one person to Harford Memorial Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.

Only the right lane was getting by on I-95 north before the Tydings Bridge as of 8:45 p.m.; transportation officials said that the two left lanes and left shoulder were closed for the response to the crash.

Drivers are encouraged to travel more slowly than usual due to the wintry mix falling across the region. Harford County is under a winter weather advisory until midnight for snow and sleet.
