Crash Near Tydings Toll Plaza Snarled Traffic

A crash south of the toll plaza near Perryville on Interstate 95 south snarled traffic Monday afternoon before the Tydings Bridge, state transportation officials said. Three vehicles reportedly collided at 1:15 p.m.

By 3 p.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority said the crash had cleared and lanes had reopened.

Tow trucks and first responders were at the scene around 1:30 p.m., officials reported. Two right lanes were blocked for more than an hour due to the incident, and drivers were advised to anticipate delays.
