Crash North of HdG Caused Miles of Backups: Officials
Maryland Transportation Authority said situation was clearing after 11 a.m. Saturday.
A crash on southbound Interstate 95 near Havre de Grace prompted lane closures Saturday morning that caused traffic to stack up to the Tydings Bridge, according to transportation officials.
The four-vehicle collision occurred before 10:15 a.m. on Saturday, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).
The crash was on I-95 south before the exit for MD 155, CHART reported.

After 10:30 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported there was a 3.5-mile backup while two lanes were closed for cleanup from the crash.
As of 11:10 a.m., the lanes were open but congestion persisted to the Tydings Bridge, according to traffic cameras.

The transportation authority said by 11:15 a.m. the situation was all clear.
