Crash Stops Traffic On I-95 South of Tydings Bridge

First responders were called to the scene near Havre de Grace Friday night.

Traffic was stopped south of the Tydings Bridge as first responders handled a collision Friday night.

One vehicle was involved in the crash, which was reported at 11:26 p.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).

All lanes were blocked on Interstate 95 north, the Maryland Transportation Authority said.

As of midnight, southbound I-95 was shut down as well, according to CHART.

A medevac had been called in, requiring the closures, transportation officials reported.

I-95 south had reopened by 12:15 a.m., according to the Maryland Transportation Authority, which reported I-95 north remained blocked.

Drivers were advised to anticipate delays and take alternate routes.
