Two Tractor Trailers Crashed on Tydings Bridge: MDTA

UPDATE (10:45 a.m.)—The crash on the Tydings Bridge has cleared, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority.

A crash near the Tydings Bridge has slowed traffic Thursday morning north of Havre de Grace.

After 10:30 a.m., the Maryland Transportation Authority reported there were backups of approximately 3 miles.

Two tractor-trailers collided on I-95 north, and the right lane was blocked, according to the authority.

The crash on I-95 north occurred around mile marker 91 and was reported before 10 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

On Thursday morning, traffic was already moving more slowly than usual because of limited visibility.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory until 11 a.m.

The Tydings Bridge, which connects Harford and Cecil counties over the Susquehanna River, was enveloped by fog.
