Crossbow Stolen, Juvenile Vandals, Rape: HdG Crime
Thief hits donation box, banning letter issued to shoplifter and more reports from the Havre de Grace Police Department.

The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A crossbow was stolen from the 700 block of Chesapeake Drive. The burglar broke the victim’s bedroom window to get inside, then took an AR-15 crossbow. The burglary was reported at 12:37 a.m. on Jan. 13 and is under investigation.
Another investigation is ongoing and involves multiple locations on Jan. 8 and 9. Three to four juveniles with paint cans vandalized various addresses while were wearing black. Areas hit include a truck on Pulaski Highway at Otsego Street; the 400 block of Lewis Lane; 700 block of Giles Street; a cafeteria window in the 600 block of South Juniata Street; broken windows on a van in the 800 block of Lafayette Street; a window frame that was bent in the 800 block of South Adams Street; South Adams and Giles Streets, where they were spraying cars and houses; and the 300 block of Commerce Street, where they threw barricades into the water. Patrol and school resource officers are collaborating in the investigation.

A rape was reported in the area of Alliance Street and Freedom Lane on Jan. 9. There was no suspect description.

Other Incidents
A 31-year-old man from the 100 block of Wilson Street was arrested on a warrant through the Harford County Sheriff’s Office for child support at 10 p.m. on Jan. 13.
A juvenile was served with a “banning letter” from an establishment in the 800 block of Pulaski Highway after a shoplifting incident before 10 p.m. on Jan. 13. It was not known what was taken.
Money was taken from a bank deposit envelope in the 700 block of Pennington Avenue. The theft was reported at about 10:20 a.m. on Jan. 13.
Checks were stolen from the 700 block of Green Street. The theft was reported at approximately 11 a.m. on Jan. 12.
A youth was referred to juvenile services following an assault in the 400 block of Lewis Lane, reported at 3:15 p.m. on Jan. 11.
There was $40 missing from a donation box in an office in the 100 block of Wilson Street. The theft was reported on Jan. 11, after the building had been opened as an emergency shelter the night before.
Clothing and cigarettes have been stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of Warren Street for months. The theft was reported at approximately 11 a.m. on Jan. 11 and is under investigation.
A 41-year-old Perry Hall woman was charged with DUI and related offenses after a crash causing property damage in the 400 block of North Union Avenue at 3:17 a.m. on Jan. 10.
Someone took $4,000 from the office safe at a business in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway. The theft occurred sometime between Jan. 7 and Jan. 10. The investigation is ongoing.
A chain link fence was damaged in the 200 block of Congress Avenue. The property is vacant. The vandalism was reported at about 12:30 p.m. on Jan. 9.
Checks were taken from the 400 block of Juniata Street, reported at 2:11 p.m. on Jan. 9.
