Darlington Apple Festival Organizers Say 'THANK YOU'

The organizers of the Darlington Apple Festival published a "thank you" on Facebook Tuesday in a show of appreciation for the thousands of visitors who attended the Oct. 5 event.

"The company does not profit from the festival, our local organizations do," Darlington Apple Festival posted on Facebook Oct. 8. "...we thank you all for coming, for supporting our local churches, scout groups, social organizations and vendors. Many of them would have a hard time surviving if it weren't for your patronage on this day every year so I speak for them in throwing out a huge THANK YOU!"
