Death Of 2-Year-Old In Havre de Grace Was Homicide: Police
Authorities say a 2-year-old girl was the victim of a homicide in Havre de Grace. Anyone with information is asked to call police.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — Police said a 2-year-old girl was the victim of a homicide in Havre de Grace. The death of the child is believed to be an isolated incident.
Aubrey Olivia Hickman, 2, died at Johns Hopkins Hospital on Friday, Jan. 11, officials reported.
She was flown there on Monday, Jan. 7, after authorities said they were called for a medical emergency in the 600 block of Green Street, where the girl was in cardiac arrest.

The Havre de Grace Police Department, Susquehanna Hose Company, Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps and Aberdeen Fire Department began providing medical support when they responded to the call on Green Street.
Noticing signs of injury, the Havre de Grace Police Department said officers began investigating possible child abuse.

The child had been living in a Green Street apartment with her mother and other individuals at the time, The Aegis reported.
After she passed away at the hospital, Hickman was taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where an autopsy of her body resulted in her death being ruled a homicide.
"At this time, we believe this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public," police said in a statement.
Authorities did not identify a suspect. Nobody has been arrested, according to WJZ.
