DECOY FESTIVAL: 30-Year Tradition Here for 3 Days

For the 30th consecutive year, the Decoy and Wildlife Art Festival takes over Havre de Grace this weekend.

More than 140 artists will be exhibiting and selling their work. The event will also include food, auctions, demonstrations and competitions.

Tickets for the entire weekend are $8. Children 12 and younger attend free when accompanied by an adult. Free shuttle services will be available to all three show locations—, the and the . Havre de Grace is also hosting its at various locations downtown.

The event begins Friday, from 6-9 p.m., and continues through the weekend.

Here's the rundown of events for this weekend:

SATURDAY—9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• 10 a.m. to noon: Silent Auction, Middle School front Hallway
• 10:30 a.m.:   Atlantic Flyway Classic Carving Competition Judging, Activity Center
• 10:30 a.m.: River Gunning Division, Decoy Museum
• 11 a.m.: Trick Bow Shooting Demonstration, Decoy Museum
• Noon:  Retriever Dog Demonstration, Middle School
• 1 p.m.: Evans McKinney Old Decoy Contest, Middle School Stage
• 1 p.m.: Gunning Rig Division, Decoy Museum
• 1 p.m.: Decoy Auction Preview, Activity Center
• 1 p.m.: Trick Bow Shooting Demonstration, Middle School
• 1-3 p.m.: Silent Auction, Middle School front hallway
• 2 p.m.: River Dog Demonstration, Middle School
• 4 p.m.: Door Prize Drawing, Middle School
• 4 p.m.: Duck Hunt Game Raffle Prize Drawing, Middle School
• 4 p.m.: Decoy Auction bid registration, Activity Center
• 5 p.m.: Festival closes
• 5:30 p.m.: Decoy Auction begins, Activity Center

SUNDAY—10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
