Douglas Arthur Lingenfelter, of Havre de Grace, passed away on Oct. 5, 2016, due to complications from neck surgery. He was 39.
Doug was born in Havre de Grace to Sue B. Sampson Lingenfelter and the late Harry Lingenfelter. He was the brother of Glen E. Lingenfelter and his wife Megan, of Havre de Grace, and loving uncle of Brittany, Bethany, Andrew, and Ava. Doug also leaves behind his beloved dog, Jackson, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
Doug graduated from Havre de Grace High School Class of 1995. He attended Frostburg University for two years. Doug worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground for Jacobs Contractors. Doug was a former member of the Susquehanna Hose Company. He was an avid Orioles Fan. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially spending time on the water. He also loved woodworking and built his own boat. Doug liked cutting grass, cooking and hanging out with his friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m., at Zellman Funeral Home, P.A., 123 South Washington Street, Havre de Grace, MD. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 10. 2016, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. A private interment will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made in his memory to Pathfinders for Autism, 303 International Circle, Suite 110, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Online condolences may be made at www.zellmanfuneralhome.com.
